Staying Awake with Yoga

I noticed this morning how grateful I feel that so much of my life is about ways to support myself to live in higher consciousness, fully alive, and sharing that life with others.
As many of you already know, I love to share the things I am passionate about and love.

Here is part of a poem by Rumi:
“The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you
Don’t go back to sleep
you must ask of what you really want
don’t go back to sleep…..
The door is round and open
Don’t go back to sleep”

How do we stay awake to who we really are in this fast moving world we live in?

Come to class, practice at home, take mini yoga breaks during the day. Be aware of how you are sitting—sit on both sitzbones; how you are standing —remember how it feels to stand in tadasana; take a few ujjayi breaths, or take a shavasana/ ujjayi break ( I still have cds available) PAUSE TO JUST BE.
